On the Move: Why the Bridges Are a Lifeline for the Moving & Shipping Industries
Cape Cod is essentially an island - connected by just two roadways and a rail line. Businesses and residents from across the Commonwealth rely heavily on the Sagamore and Bourne Bridges to transport goods and supplies between Cape Cod and the mainland. This is where companies like Eldredge & Bourne Moving & Storage and Cape Cod Express come in. On this episode, we’re joined by Jim Connolly (Eldredge & Bourne Moving & Storage), Pat Cleary (Cape Cod Express), and Rick Orton (Cape Cod Express) to learn how their teams ensure Cape Cod’s 230,000 year-round residents, 8,500 businesses, and 5 million annual visitors have access to the basic, day-to-day goods they need, from groceries, to restaurant supplies and retail products.
