That leads to a discussion with Bill Harris, chapter Past-President (2017) about his proposed legislation to permit IRA contributions to be eligible for a tax deduction in Massachusetts. State Representative, Matt Muratore, (1st Plymouth District) who is the legislator responsible for sponsoring the bill joins in to explain the legislative process for this promising bill.
