Host Jeff Perry, JD, is joined by Sheriff Jim Cummings of Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office to discuss his time and career in law enforcement, from entering the Framingham State Police Academy in 1974 to becoming Sheriff in 1999. He shares investigation stories from his rookie career and his journey on how he got to where he is today. They speak on Barnstable County’s drug, alcohol, and mental health rehabilitation efforts and its effects on recidivism rates in the area.
