Host, Chris Boyd, CFP®, speaks with show regular, Herb Montgomery, CFP®.  Herb shares some tips for listeners of observations of common tax and financial planning missteps he observed during tax preparation season.  Also covered in the first segment is a review of retirement plans small business employers may want to consider (i.e., SEP-IRA, Simple IRA, Individual 401(k) plans).  In the second half of the show, Chris review important financial news during the week relating to the weaker than expected GDP in the first quarter, worries surrounding exhausting the Social Security trust funds reserves, along with observations about the "Ryan Budget proposal" and personal attacks about his faithfuless to Catholic social teaching because of his budget priorities.
