Connecting with Care – Nonprofit and Social Services on a Peninsula

Episode 4 of Bridge the Gap spotlights the work of two major nonprofit and social services organizations on Cape Cod, exploring how our region’s geography and reliance on the Sagamore and Bourne Bridges impact services, staffing, and everything in between. Stacie Peugh, President and CEO of the YMCA Cape Cod, and Kim McElholm, President and CEO of CapeAbilities, join Bridge the Gap co-hosts Matt Pitta (Director of Communications at The Davenport Companies) and Paul Niedzwiecki (CEO of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce) for a dynamic discussion on their organizations' work to meet the needs of the Cape Cod community, on both sides of the bridges.
This episode also features a new project update segment with Luisa Paiewonsky, Executive Director of Megaprojects Delivery for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT). Beginning this month, Luisa will join us at the start of each episode to share the latest developments in the bridges replacement effort.
Bridge the Gap is a podcast series presented by the Cape & Islands Bridges Coalition (CIBC) in partnership with the Davenport Companies and the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce.
